Lacquer Art Atelier 漆藝研習：自學漆藝 1-2-3 Apr 2023
 
漆藝歷史悠遠，但當代漆藝亦可創意十足！經巧思設計後與漆藝結合，可變成立體實用的生活器皿和飾品、甚至應用在藝術設計上。製作胎體（造型）的物料多樣，可採用麻布，或木、皮、竹、馬毛、紙。把天然漆反覆地塗在胎體表面上，經蔭乾、定形、加工、打磨、裝飾，每個工序都有其學問及趣味。
 
自學漆藝工作坊旨在提供平台讓大家來交流如何從不同的路徑「自學」漆藝，探索在用家和創作者間，漆藝的可能性，我們在工作坊上會分享有用的資訊如漆藝書籍、工具及材料使用、漆藝職人的故事等。
 
4月15日、4月22日及 4月29日（週六）共三課

第一節：裱布上灰
1) 手鐲設計
2) 裱布工具材料的介紹和運用
3) 上灰工具材料的介紹和運用
4) 上灰的介紹及示範
5) 裱布和上灰實作（拌漿糊漆、裱貼、撫平、上灰）
 
2023年4月22日（週六）
第二節：髹漆打磨
1) 髹漆打磨材料介紹及運用
2) 髹漆打磨示範、實作
3) 實作調漆上生漆
4) 漆表面上灰實作（製作質感）
 
2023年4月29日（週六）
第三節：上銀箔及推光
1）金箔/銀箔材料的介紹及運用
2) 推光材料的介紹及使用技巧
3）推光上金箔/銀箔技巧示範及實作
4）實作上金箔/銀箔及推光
 
每位學員可造兩件手鐲作品，學費已包括課堂上用的基本漆藝材料、兩份手鐲原材料及工具，並可以優惠價購買漆藝自學套裝：

Lacquer art has a long history.  A piece of lacquerware requires the skills of several different elements: lacquer, layers, core materials, decoration, colours, design and process.  Participants will gain hands-on experience with contemporary lacquer art at this workshop. 
 
This workshop aims to provide a platform for participants to exchange thoughts and explore the possibilities of lacquer art between users and creators. We will share practical information from books and references, to tools and materials, and stories behind masters and artisans.
 
Date: 15, 22, 29 April 2023 (Saturdays); 3 sessions in total
Time: 3pm - 5pm

Workshop fee: Participants who register in a group of 2 or more will be offered a discount price of HK$1,680. Standard workshop fee is HK$1,800 per person.
 
Every participant will learn to create a piece of lacquerware from scratch, and is able to complete 2 bracelets. The workshop fee includes all materials and tools.
 
Workshop participants are also able to purchase Kintsugi Kit with a discounted price HK$985. We will distribute the Kintsugi Kit on the first session (15 April 2023).
