Blue Enamel Container with Longevity Symbols 藍地描金珠壇. This piece was made during the late-Qing period in Guangdong Province. There were several kiln complexes in Guangdong Province during the Qing dynasty. Among them were potteries in the general vicinity of Guangzhou such as those at Shiwan and Foshan. The Canton factories imitated the Song-dynasty blue jun glazes as closely as native raw materials would permit.
